Blue Wave Swimmers Make Statement at FHSAA 3A, 4A State MeetsNov 08 2014
BSAC's Blue Wave Swimming continued its five decade history of excellence this past weekend at the Florida High School State Championships in Stuart, Florida. Twelve Blue Wave swimmers represented their various high schools November 7th and 8th at the FHSAA 3A & 4A State Championship meets. Highlights included Senior Maddie Hess capping off her high school swimming career by winning her FIFTH and SIXTH individual State titles, respectively, in the girls 50 and 100 yard freestyles. Perhaps the most unexpected moment was when freshman swimmer Katie Vasiloff upset the favorites in the girls 100 yard butterfly, winning her first individual State title! BSAC is extremely proud of all of our athletes, our coaching leadership and our parents who all contribute to making Blue Wave one of the top swimming programs in the United States. Great job, Blue Wavers!
